The Bellefonte Town Commission has approved up to $10,000 of grant funding for a Façade Grant of up to $2,000 each for 5 grantees. This allocation is for business façade improvements in the Philadelphia Pike and Brandywine Boulevard RMX (business) districts only. These grants are for new improvements that are made after July 31, 2024 only and cannot be used for previous improvements.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Complete the application below and submit to townofbellefonte@hotmail.com, addressed to Curt Nass, Treasurer, for approval. Only five (5) grantees will be accepted, first come first served, and the deadline for submission is July 31, 2024, 6 pm. Submission is not a guarantee of approval since there are only 5 grants available. One grant per business/address.
- Once the grant has been approved (within seven (7) days of application), you will need to pay for services/product and then submit receipts to Curt Nass for reimbursement. (Canceled checks, paid invoices are acceptable proof of project completion). Work must be completed and receipts submitted by November 30, 2024, 6 pm for reimbursement.
RESTRICTIONS:
- Grants will only be accepted for Philly Pike/Brandywine Blvd. businesses that have a current Delaware business license.
- Grants are intended for paint, signage*, steps/ramps*, signage*, awnings*/shutters, lighting and windows. *Requires Permit
- This grant is a MATCHING REIMBURSEMENT GRANT. If your project costs $4,000, you will receive reimbursement for the maximum of $2,000. Your project can be more or less than $4,000, but the maximum reimbursement will be 50% or max. $2,000.
