Request for Bid – Town Hall Annex Flat Roof


TITLE:  BELLEFONTE TOWN HALL ANNEX FLAT ROOF REPLACEMENT

NOTES: 

  1. Worker salaries must conform to Delaware Prevailing Wage rules (chosen contractor will be required to sign certification of PREVAILING WAGES PAID)
  2. DE Business License Required (submit with your bid)
  3. Certificate of Liability Insurance (submit with your bid)
  4. Contractor responsible for obtaining BUILDING PERMIT from NCC
  5. Provide at least two site addresses and contact name where similar roof was installed by you.

Description:  REMOVE AND REPLACE ROOF ON ALL FLAT ROOF SURFACES OF BELLEFONTE TOWN HALL ANNEX (901B ROSEDALE AVENUE) WHICH INCLUDES TAPERED INSULATION SYSTEM TO ELIMINATE STANDING WATER

  1. REMOVE and dispose of ALL layers of old roofing
  2. INSPECT all roof decking
  3. REPLACE any bad subroofing discovered at $____ per sheet of subroofing
  4. SEAL/REPAIR any and all vulnerable areas
  5. INSTALL (1) one layer of wedge/tapered insulation as recommended by manufacturer.
  6. REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF ALL OLD FLASHING, REFLASH chimney’s, skylights, HVAC UNITS and all other obstructions.
  7. FLASH all walls, curbs, scuppers, drains, penetrations and pitch pans with TPO flashing membrane and installed per manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines. Install all new witch hat pipe collars.
  8. INSTALL WHITE MEMBRANE FLAT ROOFING per manufacturer’s installation guidelines. 
  9. ROLL over entire roof with pressure roller to ensure the TPO membrane adheres to insulation properly
  10. HEAT WELD ALL seams to ensure tight, leak free seams
  11. HEAT WELD membrane over ALL seams for long lasting tight and leak free seams.
  12. INSTALL new drip edge or termination bars where needed
  13. Remove all debris, leave worksite clean.
